Rev. Dr. Byron L. Benton
Senior Pastor
The Rev. Dr. Byron LeaVance Benton is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina and a proud graduate of NC A&T University. Pastor Benton completed his Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary (Princeton, New Jersey) with a focus on Homiletics and Pastoral Care and has a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Eastern University (Philadelphia, PA).


Rev. Dr. Augustus D. Robinson Jr.
Pastor Emeritus
Augustus and his wife, Ruth, are the proud parents of four children and grandparents of seven grandchildren. Pastor Robinson has served as Senior Pastor at Mount Moriah from October 1990 to December 2012. Pastor Robinson’s compassionate teaching, spiritual guidance and his unique ability to simplify the word of God has produced many saints for Christ throughout the world.
Rev. Darrell Ravenell
Worship & Arts Pastor
Darrel and his wife, Rev. Tammy, are the proud parents of five children. Darrel is a native of Charleston, SC and began playing music in churches at the age of seventeen. He has served at Mount Moriah since 2010.


Rev. Tony Jennings
Pastoral Care & Outreach Pastor
He was called to the ministry during his Junior year in high school. Rev. Jennings is an avid singer of Gospel music and is involved with various religioius and music conventions. He is a member of the Stella Award Nominee Gospel Music Workshop of America Mass Choirs and the GMWA Men of Promise.
Sister Dolores Ody
family Life Center Coordinator
Deaconess Dolores and her husband, Deacon Nathaniel, are the proud parents of eight children and grandparents of six. Dolores is an avid fitness buff and is President of Mt. Moriah’s Fitness Ministry. She has been serving at Mount Moriah since 2004.


Deacon Tyrone Sanders, Sr.
Business Administrator
Tyrone and his wife, Alicia, are the proud parents of four children. Deacon Sanders was selected to be the Church Business Administrator for Mt. Moriah in February 2002. He served for twenty-two years with the United States Air Force, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant.
Sister Melanie Edwards
Treasurer
Deaconess Dolores and her husband, Deacon Nathaniel, are the proud parents of eight children and grandparents of six. Dolores is an avid fitness buff and is President of Mt. Moriah’s Fitness Ministry. She has been serving at Mount Moriah since 2004.
